How often have you tried to follow a specific marketing strategy but did not feel right in the process? Perhaps you have got some results, but they did not meet your expectations? Maybe you attracted people, but they were poorly fit to your offers and, more importantly, to you as a person?

I think every entrepreneur has experienced this at least once at some stage in their business. But HOW do you choose what will work for you and your business?

As a visibility strategist, I have talked to many people who struggle to attract clients. They previously invested in some “promising” expensive marketing programs, only to find themselves exhausted when putting the strategies in place.

Some of them started doubting their abilities to market their businesses. And frankly, I felt that too at times.

We can be brilliant in helping others through our guidance, products, and services. But when it comes to finding those clients – we are constantly bombarded by the “noise” of the marketing industry, with every guru loudly announcing that their way is the fastest way to becoming a millionaire practically overnight.

The reality is very different. Most businesses start very slow. Operating at a loss for the first three years is normal while figuring things out, testing what works, and defining your unique selling point.

Many of these “trials and errors” directly link to how confident a person is in their ability both in promoting and delivering on their promises. Success depends on how much conviction they have about the product or service they offer and how empowered they are to show up and argue that their business is the best thing since sliced bread for the right people.

In my journey, I knew I needed a reliable “compass,” a tool that could allow me to determine what it is specifically that I empower my clients with through my business. Something that could boost my confidence by focusing only on the type of marketing strategies that ignited my personal magnetism.

How? By allowing me to dive deep into my own Design and embrace my truth. I serve humanity through self-absorbed research, processing what I find, sharing the core findings through the prism of my unique perspective. Embracing that self-centered creativity was vital in changing how I showed up and attracted clients. That worked for me.

For some of my clients, the focus needed to be not so much on their personal insights but building their network and connecting and celebrating people around them. For others, what really worked was showing what they do best, no commentary or explanation – a sheer demonstration of their gifts pulled clients in as if by magic.

Human Design is the tool that helped us discover what tuns the magnetic client attraction power inside.

This slightly non-traditional but incredibly accurate personality profiling system explores our energetics and how we interact with each other beyond the visible. The Design determines your energetic imprint (at birth), which shows the potential you can live up to when fully embodying your type, strategy, and decision-making authority.

Learning about your Human Design is not very beginner-friendly. However, I found that some of the top-level attributes (Your Human Design Type, Authority and Profile) offer the most practical, hands-on guidance for making correct choices in your business and creating content that pulls the right people in.

Some people call Human Design a “user manual” for your life. I felt it gave me permission to be unapologetically me in my business. As an example, it relieved me of the pressure to focus on growing my Facebook group, which I grew to a couple of thousand members, but always felt like “entertaining” members by creating interaction in the group a chore. I could write the most engaging post ever with joy and post it on my personal profile, but if I had to do it for the sake of “nurturing my group members,” – something always felt off.

My Design revealed what I suspected but was afraid to admit, as it goes against a lot of marketing advice out there. It showed clearly that networking is not how my personal magnetism works. In fact, my Human design profile is the most self-absorbed one of them all, it pulls people in, but it does not need to focus on the others in self- expression.

What did it mean for my marketing? It allowed me to do what I truly lose myself in: write, give talks, create passive consumption products, talk about myself, my research, my findings, what did not work, what seemed to truly work. What works for people I know who are different and what I see that is so misaligned and out of integrity in the world of marketing and business.

Self-empowerment is what boosts our businesses more than anything else. Human Design proved to be that “compass” that can help you navigate the world of online visibility safely and securely, with no need to show up as someone you are not. You can be confident in saying NO to offers, commitments, and opportunities that do not feel correct to you. You can confidently rely on your unique gifts and energetics to show up in complete authenticity, whatever your “user manual is.” And that will give you the magnetism and conviction to easily attract the best clients and freedom into your business.
